Josh Doctson Reportedly Hurt Shoulder On End-Zone Drop

According to Washington Redskins head coach Jay Gruden, wide receiver Josh Doctson hurt his shoulder while attempting to secure the catch on a potential game-winning touchdown pass from Kirk Cousins in the final minute of Week 4. In a play in which Doctson’s athleticism was on full display, the second year wide receiver went up to high-point a catch over the defender for what would have been the go ahead TD over the Chiefs on Monday night footbal. Unfortunately, Doctson lost the ball when he came crashing to the turf and apparently also suffered a shoulder injury. Gruden said Doctson will continue to see more opportunities after the bye assuming the shoulder issue doesn’t set him back.
