Josh Bellamy’s Drops Should Keep Him On The Waiver Wire

This article first appeared on RotoBaller.com

Josh Bellamy for the season has 10 receptions for 114 yards through four games played this season. Bellamy has been targeted only 17 times and drops have plagued the special teamer’s career playing wide receiver. He is not a fantasy option at this point but the good news is the Bears change at quarterback to rookie Mitch Trubisky. Trubisky and Bellamy connected several times in the preseason for some big gains and that chemistry could show itself again moving forward on offense. The Bears take on a Vikings secondary that has allowed the third most receiving yards (748) to the position this season and someone needs to emerge in the passing game for the Bears. Bellamy will see opportunities but possesses little fantasy appeal due to his history of drops.
