Myles Garrett To Play Sunday; Will Be On A Snap Count

Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett will make his NFL debut on Sunday against the New York Jets. The No. 1 overall pick in this year’s draft has missed the first four games of the season with an ankle sprain. While Garrett will be active, head coach Hue Jackson told reporters that he won’t be a full-time player in his debut. Jackson stated, “I’m sure we’ll have him on a pitch count. Again, he’s just now getting back to practice a week ago. He’s put together a week-and-a-half of practice. But still he’s been off for quite a while too, so I think we got to be smart about our expectations of him this weekend.” Garrett got in limited practice sessions on Wednesday and Thursday. His return should boost a beleaguered Cleveland defense.
