Aaron Jones Breaks Out in Big Week 5 Game

Aaron Jones ran for 125 yards on 19 carries with one touchdown in Week 5 against the Dallas Cowboys. He ran efficiently and helped drive Green Bay’s offense early in the game. Jones is a quick and agile runner who is capable of finding and exploiting running lanes, but he lacks the top end speed for huge gains. There was some mystery coming into the game over how the carries would be distributed between Jones and Jamaal Williams. Jones got the bulk of the carries and performed better when given the chance. He has clearly taken the 2nd string running back spot and is making a push to supplant Ty Montgomery, who was out with an injury, as the starting running back in Green Bay. If Aaron Jones is currently unowned in your league he should be the highest priority waiver pickup.
