Ben Roethlisberger Brutal Against Jaguars In Week 5

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger turned in one of the worst performances of his career in Week 5 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Roethlisberger completed 33-of-55 passes for 312 yards, no touchdowns, and five interceptions. Of those five interceptions, two went for pick-sixes. Roethlisberger’s early season struggles have been mostly explained away by his road-heavy schedule but this was a home game, making the brutal performance even more alarming for fantasy owners. After the game, Roethlisberger had some interesting comments for reporters, stating, “Maybe I don’t have it anymore.” While you can’t take what was said after a tough loss at face value, this is the same player who talked seriously of retiring after the 2016 season. Roethlisberger can’t be trusted as a starter in one-quarterback leagues until he picks up his play significantly. He will take on the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 6.
