The Randall Cobb Resurgence Takes a Hit as He Disappoints in Dallas

This article first appeared on RotoBaller.com

Randall Cobb caught four passes for only 29 yards in a Week 5 win over Dallas. The slot receiver had been having a bit of a comeback following two down years in 2015 and 2016. Cobb did not look particularly bad, he is just prone to poor games when he is not featured heavily in Green Bay’s game plan. His skill set doesn’t naturally lend itself to Green Bay’s scheme and he needs a lot of help to get open. There will still be games where they work to get him involved but as Week 5 showed, that will not happen every week. This game simply reaffirms Cobb as a pretty solid flex player who can give you big games every once in a while.
