Brandon Marshall To Have Season-Ending Surgery
New York Giants wide receiver Brandon Marshall (ankle) announced on his Instagram that he’ll have season-ending surgery on his ankle Tuesday. Marshall’s first year in New York was highly disappointing, as he caught only 18 passes (on 33 targets) for 154 yards and no touchdowns. He can be safely dropped in redraft formats now. With both he and Odell Beckham Jr. (ankle) done for the year now, Sterling Shepard (ankle) will become the team’s No. 1 receiver, whenever he returns from an ankle sprain of his own. Until then, Roger Lewis and rookie tight end Evan Engram will serve as Eli Manning‘s top receivers in Week 6 against Denver. It’s already a lost season for the G-Men.
