Sam Bradford Will Play Monday

Minnesota Vikings quarterback Sam Bradford (knee) will play on Monday night against the Bears in Week 5, according to head coach Mike Zimmer. Bradford practiced all week and received most of the first-team repetitions, making it likely that he would return to the starting lineup after missing three straight games. The oft-injured QB threw for 346 yards and three touchdowns in the season opener against a weak Saints defense, but don’t expect similar production Monday, even against a suspect Bears unit. The good news is Minnesota’s main pass catchers (Stefon Diggs, Adam Thielen and Kyle Rudolph) should see a boost with Bradford returning.
