Dwayne Allen Critical Of His Own Play

New England Patriots tight end Dwayne Allen recently called himself out for his recent lack of efficient play. “I certainly haven’t played up to my potential” commented Allen in regards to his lackluster play this season. Allen, who was acquired by the team over the summer from the Indianapolis Colts, has zero receptions on the year. In wake of the injury to tight end Rob Gronkowski (thigh) that kept him out against Tampa Bay, he was anticipated to step in and have a larger role. However, he wasn’t anywhere to be found and was a major disappointment to fantasy owners hoping to cash in on Gronkowski’s absence. Allen scored six touchdowns last season with his former team but looks a long ways away from where he was not too long ago.
