Sam Bradford Day-To-Day
Minnesota Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer said quarterback Sam Bradford (knee) “aggravated his injury when he got tackled on one of the plays” Monday night against the Bears. Case Keenum replaced Bradford late in the second half and led the Vikings to a 20-17 victory. Zimmer described Bradford as day-to-day and didn’t think the team made a bad decision by starting Bradford. The veteran quarterback didn’t look good at all right from the start and went just 5-for-11 for 36 yards in two quarters. He was missing badly on his passes, made questionable decisions and couldn’t move at all in the pocket because of his knee. Keenum wasn’t great, but he’s been solid in place of Bradford, and it seems unlikely that Bradford would be able to return in Week 6.
