Sterling Shepard Out Again Thursday

New York Giants wide receiver Sterling Shepard (ankle) is not practicing for the second straight day Thursday. Shepard was in a walking boot this week and appears to be a long shot to play in Week 6 against the Broncos. With both Odell Beckham Jr. (ankle) and Brandon Marshall (ankle) out for the season, it looks like Roger Lewis will be the team’s No. 1 receiver Sunday night in a daunting matchup on the road. He’s not a fantasy option, but he’s certainly an option off the waiver wire for his expected huge workload increase. Rookie tight end Evan Engram could see a bounty of targets this weekend, but the Giants offense will struggle to move the ball, probably for the rest of the season.
