Darren McFadden Worth an Add in All Formats

Dallas Cowboys running back Darren McFadden is worth picking up off the waiver wire in all formats of fantasy football. With Ezekiel Elliott (suspension) looking like he may need to start serving his suspension in Week 7, McFadden will suddenly become a big part of the Dallas backfield. While it isn’t yet a sure thing that Elliott will be out and Alfred Morris looks to be ahead of McFadden for now, McFadden will still have a big enough role to be worth rostering, especially in PPR leagues. If Elliott does indeed sit out until Week 13, McFadden will most likely work as the passing-down back in Dallas, mixing in for early down carries as well. It’s a role that carries RB3/Flex value with realistic RB2 upside. McFadden began the year as a weekly inactive, but he’ll play a large role if Elliott is absent.
