Free agent quarterback Drew Brees signed a two-year deal with the New Orleans Saints, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. The deal is reported to be worth $50 million (with $27 million guaranteed), as the Hall of Fame quarterback returns to New Orleans. Rapoport said earlier today that the two sides made progress yesterday, as Zach Streif’s retirement opened up money, and now Brees will return to New Orleans (where he has played since 2006). Brees is still a top-10 quarterback, but the offense appears to be more focused on the rushing attack of Mark Ingram and Alvin Kamara.
