Week 14 fantasy football waiver wire: Bye's and St. Brown leave holes to fill
See which players are worth adding to your fantasy football roster ahead of Week 14's action.
After a week's reprieve from the bye weeks, they’re back for one more haunting, and just in time to potentially screw up your playoff run. There are plenty of injury concerns to make things interesting as well, including the strong likelihood that Amon-Ra St. Brown won’t be around this week to help get you over the hump.
But there are always actions you can take to help stabilize your roster during this final push. Below are the top players to target ahead of Week 14 — plus FAAB recommendations and matchup context for each position.

Quarterbacks to add in Week 14
Tyrod Taylor (NYJ) — Streamer
4% owned
If you’re relying on Taylor to carry your team to a title, you’re in trouble. But if you’re missing Jaxson Dart or Drake Maye in a bye week, Taylor might be your best available option, depending on your league. He has quietly and surprisingly been one of the better streaming QBs this season, finishing as QB8, QB15, and QB5 in his three starts. In Week 13, he posted 23.3 fantasy points, powered by 44 rushing yards and a touchdown. He now gets a Miami defense allowing the 7th-most fantasy points to QBs, with three of the last four passers scoring at least 21.4 against them. FAAB: 1–3%
Others to stream: C.J. Stroud (HOU); Trevor Lawrence (JAC); Tyler Shough (NO)
Running backs to add in Week 14
Chris Rodriguez (WAS) — Top priority
24% owned
Rodriguez has emerged as the clear leader of Washington’s backfield, out-carrying Jacory Croskey-Merritt 26 to 13 over the past two weeks and dominating goal-line work (4–2 over the past month). He has now delivered four straight usable fantasy outings, including 41 yards and a touchdown against Denver. While he won’t singlehandedly win you a league, he profiles as an RB3/flex with spike-week potential — especially with Jayden Daniels potentially back to improve overall offensive efficiency. FAAB: 10–15%
Bam Knight (ARI) — Streamer
26% owned
I don’t blame you if you want to completely avoid this mess of a backfield down the stretch, but know that Knight has scored double-digit fantasy points in three straight games and is coming off a season-best 98 total yards and a receiving touchdown. He’s played 40%+ snaps every week since Week 6 and has caught 3+ passes in three straight. Knight stays in the RB3 mix with RB2 upside if Benson remains out. FAAB: 5–8%
Others to stream: Bhayshul Tuten (JAC); Tyler Allgeier (ATL)
Others to stash: Blake Corum (LAR)
Wide receivers to add in Week 14
Adonai Mitchell (NYJ) — Top priority
3% owned
Mitchell erupted in Week 13 with 8 catches for 102 yards and a touchdown on a massive 163 air yards. Since joining the Jets, he owns a 30% target share and 60% air-yard share— true WR1 usage. He has 25 targets across his first three games in New York and is rapidly becoming Tyrod Taylor’s top option, especially with Garrett Wilson banged up. Mitchell is a boom-or-bust WR4 with legitimate WR2 upside if the role continues to solidify. FAAB: 12–15%
Jayden Higgins (HOU) — Streamer
35% owned
Higgins has been one of Houston’s most consistent weapons, posting at least 55 yards or a TD in five of his last six games and ranking as the WR36 over that stretch. While he still plays only around 60% of snaps due to rookie inconsistencies, that also means his role has room to grow. With defenses keying on Nico Collins, Higgins has carved out steady WR4/Flex value with upside for more. FAAB: 5–8%
Isaac TeSlaa (DET) — Streamer/Stash
1% owned
TeSlaa played 92% of snaps when Amon-Ra St. Brown exited with an ankle injury and turned the opportunity into 35 yards and a touchdown. If St. Brown misses Thursday’s high-total matchup vs. Dallas (53.5 points), TeSlaa becomes an instant flex option. Detroit traded up to draft him for a reason — he’s a raw but elite contested-catch specialist with a nose for the end zone. FAAB: 5%
Others to stream: Christian Watson (GB); Parker Washington (JAC)
Others to stash: Jalen Coker (CAR)
Tight ends to add in Week 14
Brenton Strange (JAC) — Streamer
32% owned
Since returning from IR, Strange has reclaimed a full-time role. He posted 93 yards on five catches in Week 12, then followed up with 3/45/1 in Week 13. Across those two weeks he owns an 18% target share and 22% air-yard share, and his route participation has climbed from 69% to 81%. Strange is a locked-in streaming TE with low-end TE1 upside, especially with the Jaguars leaning on him in key situations. FAAB: 5–8%
Others to stream: Coleston Loveland (CHI); Harold Fannin (CLE); Darren Waller (MIA)
D/STs to add in Week 14
Buccaneers (TB) — Streamer
29% owned
Tampa Bay already dismantled the Saints earlier this year, posting a season-high 26 fantasy points in Week 8 with four turnovers, five sacks, and a defensive TD. New Orleans remains turnover-prone and inconsistent, making the Bucs a strong Week 14 streaming defense. FAAB: 1–2%
Others to stream: Dolphins (MIA); Commanders (WAS)
Kickers to add in Week 14
Will Lutz (DEN) — Streamer
Lutz has quietly become one of the most reliable kickers in football, hitting 17-of-20 FGs and all 24 extra points. He’s posted 27 fantasy points across the last two weeks and now kicks indoors vs. the Raiders — a defense allowing the 11th-most fantasy points to kickers. FAAB: 1–2%
Others to stream: Brandon McManus (GB); Evan McPherson (CIN)
