Week 4 fantasy football waiver wire pickups
See which players are worth adding to your fantasy football roster ahead of Week 4's action.
It’s the final week before the bye weeks, which means sneaky stashes could turn into difference-makers.
But the big news this week is James Conner’s season-ending injury, which makes Trey Benson the most sought-after waiver target heading into Week 4. He’s still available in roughly half of leagues, so scope out that situation in your league before making your dart-throw stashes.
Here are all the players worth a look this week, should they be available in your league, including suggested FAAB bid ranges (based on consensus analysis from trusted sources, including Sharp Football Analysis, FTN Fantasy, and RotoBaller).

Week 4 waiver wire cheatsheet
Week 4 waiver wire quarterbacks
“In Week 4, Smith gets a dream matchup against the Bears, who allowed two of three quarterbacks this season to score at least 26.2 Fantasy points.”
— Jamey Eisenberg, CBS Sports
Geno Smith, Raiders (28% rostered) — Streamer
Daniel Jones is still the top QB to add on the wire if he’s available, which he is now only in 28% of Yahoo leagues, so it’s time to pass the torch.
So let’s look at Smith as well. He rebounded from an ugly Week 2 showing with 289 yards and three touchdowns against Washington — though it’s worth noting much of that came in garbage time. Still, with a 362-yard game under his belt from Week 1 as well, he’s shown that he can be a steady QB2 in the right matchups. Smith's lack of rushing limits his ceiling, but he’s streamable this week against the Bears. Suggested FAAB: $3–$6
Other quarterbacks to stream: Daniel Jones (Colts), Jake Browning (Bengals), Marcus Mariota (Commanders)
Others to stash: Bryce Young (Panthers), Jaxson Dart (Giants)
Week 4 waiver wire running backs
Trey Benson, Cardinals (52% rostered) — Top Priority
James Conner’s season-ending injury opens the door wide for Benson to take over lead duties in Arizona. The rookie has already flashed explosiveness in limited touches and now has a clear path to 15+ touches per game in a backfield without a proven alternative. He’s a must-add in all formats and should be treated as a weekly RB2 with upside. Suggested FAAB: $18–$25
Chris Rodriguez Jr., Commanders (5% rostered) — Upside Stash
Rodriguez led Washington with 11 carries in Week 3 and profiles as the team’s best between-the-tackles back. He’s likely to share the workload in a three-man committee with Jacory Croskey-Merritt and Jeremy McNichols, but his size and goal-line usage give him a solid weekly floor. If the Commanders’ offense continues to score, Rodriguez could offer flex value. Suggested FAAB: $3–$6
Other running backs to stash: Tyjae Spears (Titans), Ollie Gordon II (Dolphins), Woody Marks (Texans)
Week 4 waiver wire wide receivers
“After Sunday's games, Tucker stands alone atop the weekly WR leaderboard. … This performance could be a harbinger of a breakout year for the 24-year-old.”
— Hayden Epinette, RotoBaller
Tre Tucker, Raiders (5% rostered) — Top Priority
Tucker exploded in Week 3 with eight catches for 145 yards and three touchdowns — easily the best performance of his career. He’s now logged 17 targets over the last two weeks, and with the Raiders often playing from behind, Tucker could see plenty of volume moving forward. His deep speed and target share make him more than just a flash in the pan. Suggested FAAB: $10–$15
Elic Ayomanor, Titans (21% rostered) — Streamer
Ayomanor has scored in back-to-back weeks and appears to be building strong chemistry with rookie QB Cameron Ward. While his total yardage is still modest (107 yards through three games), he’s becoming a favorite red-zone target and has firmly overtaken Calvin Ridley as Tennessee’s most consistent WR option. A sneaky add in deeper leagues or dynasty formats. Suggested FAAB: $1–$3
Other WRs to stream: Jalen Tolbert (Cowboys), Sterling Shepard (Buccaneers)
Others to stash: Tory Horton (Seahawks), Malik Washington (Dolphins), Luther Burden III (Bears)
Week 4 waiver wire tight ends
Hunter Henry, Patriots (61% rostered) — Top Priority
Henry dominated in Week 3 with 90 yards and two touchdowns on 11 targets — both team highs. He now has 22 targets over the first three games, more than any tight end not named Bowers or Warren. Rookie QB Drake Maye clearly trusts him, especially in the red zone, and with TE production scarce, Henry should be rostered in all formats. Suggested FAAB: $8–$12
Other TEs to stream: Harold Fannin Jr. (Browns), Brenton Strange (Jaguars), Cade Otton (Buccaneers)
Other TEs to stash: Chig Okonkwo (Titans)
Week 4 waiver wire defense/special teams
Chargers (49% rostered) — Streamer
The Bolts face a struggling Giants offense in Week 4 that has scored under 10 points in two of three games. Russell Wilson has taken seven sacks and thrown three interceptions so far, and the Chargers’ defense has quietly ranked in the top five in DVOA. They’ve notched seven sacks and three takeaways — more than enough to trust them as a one-week streamer. Suggested FAAB: $1–$3
Other defenses to stream: 49ers, Rams, Patriots
