Add in the Bills and Ravens bye weeks, and you may find your bench looking thinner than usual.
Fortunately, there are still plenty of names ready to step up. Whether you’re looking for short-term production or long-term upside, here are the best waiver wire pickups to target this week.

Week 7 waiver wire cheatsheet
Week 7 quarterbacks
QB injury update
🚫 Nope: Joe Burrow (CIN)
🫤 Looking iffy: Brock Purdy (SF); Carson Wentz (MIN)
🙏 Cautiously optimistic: J.J. McCarthy (MIN); Kyler Murray (ARI)
🏖️ On a bye: Josh Allen (BUF), Lamar Jackson (BAL)
Quarterbacks to add in Week 7
Jaxson Dart (NYG), 32% rostered — Top Priority
Rookie growing pains aside, Jaxson Dart has been one of the most exciting young quarterbacks in fantasy. He’s topped 19 points in two of his three starts and continues to offer a solid rushing floor (50+ yards in each game). He joined Lamar Jackson and Jalen Hurts as the only QBs in the Super Bowl era to rush for 50 yards in each of their first three starts. Week 7 brings a tough matchup in Denver, but he remains a low-end QB1/high-end QB2 with a strong schedule ahead. Suggested FAAB: up to 5%
Others to stream: Sam Darnold (SEA); J.J. McCarthy (MIN); Bryce Young (CAR)
Others to stash: C.J. Stroud (HOU)
Week 7 running backs
RB injury update
🚫 Nope: Trey Benson (ARI); Omarion Hampton (LAC); Aaron Jones (MIN); Joe Mixon (HOU)
🫤 Looking iffy: Chuba Hubbard (CAR); Bucky Irving (TB)
🏖️ On a bye: James Cook (BUF), Derrick Henry (BAL)
Running backs to add in Week 7
Kimani Vidal (LAC), 32% rostered — Top Priority
Vidal was the clear lead back for the Chargers in Week 6, handling 67% of snaps and 75% of carries while posting 138 scrimmage yards and a touchdown. He out-touched Hassan Haskins 21-7 and showed burst against Miami’s soft run defense. The Chargers may still explore adding backfield help, but Vidal has earned the top job for now. He’s a strong RB3 with RB2 upside while Omarion Hampton remains out. Suggested FAAB: 20%
Zonovan (Bam) Knight (ARI), 12% rostered — Streamer
Knight split snaps almost evenly with Michael Carter in Week 6, but he made the most of his touches, scoring a touchdown and posting 54 total yards. With Trey Benson still weeks away from returning, Knight has temporary flex appeal in deeper leagues. However, his matchup with Green Bay is rough, and the Cardinals have a Week 8 bye, so keep expectations modest. Suggested FAAB: 10%
Others to stream: Kareem Hunt (KC), Kendre Miller (NO), Tyjae Spears (TEN)
Others to stash: Brian Robinson Jr. (SF), DJ Giddens (IND), Will Shipley (PHI)
Week 7 waiver wide receivers
WR injury update
🏴☠️ Not bloody likely: Mike Evans (TB); Marvin Harrison Jr. (ARI); Garrett Wilson (NYJ)
🫤 Looking iffy: Jauan Jennings (SF); D.J. Moore (CHI); Puka Nacua (LAR); Ricky Pearsall (SF); Darius Slayton (NYG)
🙏 Cautiously optimistic: CeDee Lamb (DAL); Terry McLaurin (WAS); Darnell Mooney (ATL)
🏖️ On a bye: Khalil Shakir (BUF), Keon Coleman (BUF), Zay Flowers (BAL), Rashod Bateman (BAL)
WRs to add in Week 7
Kayshon Boutte (NE), 9% rostered — Upside Stash
Boutte broke out with five catches for 93 yards and two touchdowns in Week 6 at New Orleans. He’s now scored 16+ PPR points in both games where he’s seen five or more targets. His snap count remains strong, and Drake Maye’s improvement is boosting this passing attack. Expect some week-to-week volatility, but he’s worth a bench spot with the Titans next on the schedule. Suggested FAAB: 5–10%
Kendrick Bourne (SF), 36% rostered — Streamer
Bourne has been a fantasy gem with back-to-back 140+ yard games as the 49ers continue to battle injuries at receiver. Even if Ricky Pearsall returns this week, Bourne has earned a steady role as a reliable target earner. If Pearsall remains out, Bourne is a locked-in WR2. If everyone returns, he drops to a WR3/flex but remains worth rostering. Suggested FAAB: 5–10%
Others to stream: Tre Tucker (LV), Josh Downs (IND), Darnell Mooney (ATL)
Others to stash: Jalen Coker (CAR), Tre’ Harris (LAC)
Week 7 tight ends
TE injury update
🫤 Looking iffy: David Njoku (CLE); Brock Bowers (KC); Brenton Strange (JAX)
🙏 Cautiously optimistic: George Kittle (SF)
🏖️ On a bye: Dalton Kincaid (BUF), Dawson Knox (BUF), Mark Andrews (BAL), Isaiah Likely (BAL)
Tight ends to add in Week 7
Harold Fannin Jr. (CLE), 27% rostered — Top Priority
With David Njoku nursing a knee injury, Fannin stepped up in Week 6 with seven receptions for 81 yards on 10 targets. He’s now scored 15+ PPR points in back-to-back games and looks poised for a larger role. Given his athleticism and rapport with Dillon Gabriel, Fannin should be rostered everywhere as a high-end TE2 with TE1 upside if Njoku misses time. Suggested FAAB: 15%
Others to stream: Mason Taylor (NYJ), Cade Otton (TB)
Others to stash: Isaiah Likely (BAL)
Week 7 waiver wire defense/special teams
🏖️ On a bye: Bills (BUF); Ravens (BAL)
Patriots (NE), 52% rostered — Top Priority
Tennessee’s offense has been a fantasy gold mine for opposing defenses, and the Patriots get them in Week 7. The Titans just gave up three turnovers and six sacks while mustering 160 yards of offense. Expect New England’s front to feast on Cam Ward and generate multiple takeaways. The Pats are an easy plug-and-play top-5 D/ST this week. Suggested FAAB: 1–3%
Others to stream: Bears (CHI), Chiefs (KC), Seahawks (SEA)
Week 7 waiver wire kickers
Eddy Pineiro (SF), 25% rostered — Streamer
Since taking over for the 49ers in Week 2, Pineiro has been fantastic — a perfect 15-for-15 on field goals and 7-of-8 on extra points. He’s averaging 12.8 fantasy points per game and has multiple FGs in five straight contests. With San Francisco hosting Atlanta indoors and still moving the ball efficiently, Pineiro is a top-tier kicker to add this week. Suggested FAAB: 1–2%
Others to stream: Brandon McManus (GB), Andy Borregales (NE)
