Updating a previous report, wide receiver Dez Bryant is now an unrestricted free agent after he was cut by the Dallas Cowboys on Friday. Bryant was reportedly not even offered a pay cut, and so the Dez Bryant era comes to an end with a whimper in Dallas. The Cowboys will save $8.5 million this season. Bryant will have no trouble finding a new job, but his fantasy value will be very dependent on his landing spot. His skills did not work well with quarterback Dak Prescott, but it looked like Dez had enough left to at least be a solid WR2 in the right situation.
