The Miami Dolphins have visits scheduled with Wyoming quarterback Josh Allen and Oklahoma quarterback Baker Mayfield on Thursday, according to a source. The Dolphins pick at No. 11 overall in this year’s draft, but they’d likely have to trade up to have any shot at selecting either signal caller. The Dolphins and head coach Adam Gase are sticking with Ryan Tannehill as their starter in 2018, but he’ll have to prove himself to keep the job, and he doesn’t seem to be their long-term answer. If Miami trades up in the first round, a quarterback controversy may be brewing sooner than expected. Allen or Mayfield wouldn’t be redraft options in Miami in their rookie seasons, but they will both be attractive dynasty picks right away.
