Newly acquired Indianapolis Colts tight end Eric Ebron told the media on Thursday that he thinks quarterback Andrew Luck is a “perfect fit” for the kind of passer that he wants to play with, per Mike Wells of ESPN. “I just wanted a quarterback and someone that I knew could get me the ball,” said Ebron, “the perfect move for me was to come to Indianapolis and be a weapon for him.” After failing to live up to expectations as the tenth overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, it might do Ebron some good to operate behind a reliable pass-catcher in tight end Jack Doyle. Unfortunately for fantasy owners, it’s anyone’s guess as to how the reformed coaching staff in Indianapolis will utilize him amid uncertainty with Andrew Luck’s return. Ebron could be a name worth monitoring if he start to makes some noise in training camp.
